CASE STUDY

Igniting the imagination of a city

For the 2019 holidays, the Downtown Victoria Business Association wanted to do something extra special for the city that would also support its member businesses. They asked us if we could help them create a downtown holiday event that would bring the city together to celebrate.

We created “Lights of Wonder”, which transformed Victoria’s Centennial Square into a magical holiday wonderland. Featuring custom-made light sculptures, four interactive light tunnels and a 40-foot festive tree, this amazing immersive experience hoped to bring in 35,000 visitors. By the end of the holidays we had more than doubled that goal with over 75,000 people showing up to enjoy the live performers, warm treats and dazzling light filled atmosphere. Our team designed and manufactured all of the installations specifically for the event. With full ownership of the event and all of its installations, DVBA is set up perfectly to enjoy this magical experience every season and continue to build upon the overwhelming success.
